Three people were arrested after a hit and rank rush on the highway in the Eagle Rock area.
Law enforcement responded to a crash of three vehicles on the 134 East Freeway off Figueroa Street just after 3pm, when one of the drivers abandoned the car and ran to a residential area on Eagle Vista Drive.
The person then ran through a nearby house, where the officer met an armed woman who had come out of the same residence. The police fired the woman, but it is unclear if they attacked her. I don’t know if she responded with the shooting.
After officers responded to an incident on the 134 highway near Eagle Rock, the Hit and Rank Rush led to a shooting involving officers. Eliana Moreno is reporting NBC4 News on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025 at 4pm.
Officials were able to arrest the armed woman more than an hour later.
Police also arrested a driver who was believed to have been involved in the hit and run. NewsChopper 4 had crossed the scene during his arrest and the male boxer was in custody.
They also detained a second woman in connection with the incident. It is unclear what her potential role in the case and why she was arrested.
The identities of those arrested have not been released.
It is unknown what crashed on the highway.
