San Bernardino County homicide detectives are investigating the death of a 33-year-old woman who was found with apparent trauma in her home earlier this week, authorities announced Wednesday.
Officers with the Upland Police Department responded to an apartment in the 2000 block of West Arrow Route around 8:20 p.m. after receiving a report from a person of interest.

“We received a call from a member of the media informing us that a 33-year-old woman did not show up for work and could not be reached,” UPD said in a social media post.
Responding officers located the residence and observed an unidentified, unresponsive victim through a window with visible injuries.

“Officers entered the apartment to provide assistance, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene,” police added.
Officials said the investigation into the woman’s death is ongoing and no further details are available at this time.
