Culver City police discovered a trailer stolen from a Los Angeles County nonprofit organization, delivering a surprise to the organization just in time for the holidays.
Police learned on Nov. 22 that the Walk ‘n’ Rollers’ trailer, complete with all its equipment, had been stolen and spent several weeks investigating.
“Thanks to the diligent work of our detectives, this case is closed. An arrest has been made and the trailer has been recovered,” the Culver City Police Department posted on its Instagram page.

Police noticed that much of the organization’s scooters, bikes and other equipment had not been recovered and began work in hopes of replacing them before Christmas and Hanukkah.
“Right before the holidays, police officers delivered a bike, scooter, helmet, and equipment to Walk ‘n Rollers leader Jim Shanman,” the post said.
The department thanked officers and investigators, the Culver City Police Foundation and Target donors for their hard work.
“This is really great,” Shanman said as police carried away the items.
“This was a team effort to come together to assist this theft victim,” the police department said.
