The presence of large police forces, including SWAT teams and bomb squads, flocked to the Chatsworth neighborhood on Sunday morning, authorities confirmed with KTLA.
Details are limited and it is unclear exactly how the incident unfolded, but officers responded to the initial domestic violence call in the 10,100 block of Mason Avenue just after 10am, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
“Suspicious items” were found at the scene, police told KTLA, prompting the response of SWAT teams, both at least one K9 unit, the bomb squad and police drone.

In the photos of the scene posted to the Civic App, the majority of the street was surrounded by yellow tape, but a group of heavily armed police officers gathered, at least in part, in the alleys in front of the house and behind several homes.

It is unclear whether the fatal ammunition was fired, but authorities say the male suspect was taken into custody around 2:30pm in breach of the restraining order.
In the 6pm update, authorities added that the suspicious item was cleared and there was no evidence of dangerous goods.
No additional details, including the suspect’s identity, were provided for the incident.
