The gunman who wanted to shoot a man who was deliberately accused of driving into a crowd outside an East Hollywood nightclub is identified as he stays all over.
The shooter was identified as 28-year-old Efren Villarobos of Lawndale, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
On July 19, 29-year-old Fernandora Mirez is accused of driving his car to a large crowd outside a popular nightclub in the 1000 block of North Vermont Avenue.
More than 120 first responders rushed to the scene where 37 people were taken to the hospital with injuries ranging from slight pain to serious fractures and lacerations. Several people who were hit by the car were temporarily locked up beneath them. No deaths have been reported.
Earlier that night, Ramirez reportedly had been removed from the nightclub for being destructive and was turned away when he tried to re-enter the venue.
He got into the car, drove to Vermont Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard, where he made a u-turn before driving to the sidewalk, bumping into the taco bender stands and the podium of Bullett, plowing the crowd.

After the collision, cell phone video showed bystanders pulling Ramirez out of the car, punching and kicking him repeatedly.
During the argument, gunman Villa Lobos reportedly approached from across the street and shot Ramirez in the waist. He fled the scene before police arrived.
Ramirez was taken to hospital and later arrested. On July 22, he was charged by the LA County District Attorney’s Office with 37 count attempted murder and 37 count fatal weapons. If convicted, he could face multiple prison sentences for life in prison.
LAPD is still looking for Villalobos. He is said to be a Hispanic man, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He has unique features including shaved head, brown eyes and measured piercings on both ears.

He has multiple tattoos on his right forearm with the surname “Villalobos”, the phrase “no respect given” on the inside of his right arm, and multiple tattoos on his left arm with the name “Mia Bela”.
Villalobos faces felony charges in connection with the shooting. Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
“This is a heinous act that left dozens of wounded people behind, and while the allegations will be tested in court, the impact on the victim cannot be denied,” said LA County District Attorney Nathan Hochman. “Our idea is with them and their loved ones as they begin their long journey to recovery. We are committed to pursuing justice with attention and compassion for those affected.”
