Los Angeles police released the first images of the suspected gunman who shot and killed two security guards at a downtown Target store Monday night.
According to police, the suspect, a man believed to be in his early 20s, confronted two security guards on suspicion of shoplifting and shot them to death.
The suspect is described as being 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds. At the time of the photo, he was wearing a black jacket, purple scarf, gray pants, and a black durag.
The Los Angeles Police Department has released a security image of the suspect in the December 30, 2024 shooting at the DTLA Target.
The man’s murder weapon was described as a 9mm handgun.
The suspect remains unresolved and is considered armed and dangerous.

The shooting, which occurred around 9 p.m. at the Target store at 735 S. Figueroa St. in the FigAt7th shopping mall, left two security guards hospitalized, one in critical condition.
The security guard was employed by Target, but Figat Sevens said in a statement that the mall is “deeply troubled” by the incident Monday night and is working closely with police on the investigation. Ta.
