Authorities are looking for an arsonist who burned himself while trying to burn a car in COVID-19.
When the strange incident happened early Tuesday, authorities said the man jumped over a metal fence in the home in the 900 block of Wakefield Avenue and set a lit black sedan in his front yard. The flames were so explosive that the man’s clothes were also lit, authorities said. It was unclear whether the fire was severe enough to cause injury.
The homeowner’s surveillance cameras filmed the moment before the flame ball exploded, urging the arsonist to go back onto the fence, dressed and run away. The man is then seen rolling the ground and putting himself out.
Arson Investigators at the Coroner Fire Station say the trail is colder incentives for the man’s identity and why he targets the home.

“For now, I think this is a random act of violence,” said Corona Fire Captain Daniel Yonan. “He’s still loose.”
Police and fire investigators are seeking public help in finding and identifying arson suspects who described as a man in his 30s as a man between 5 feet and 6 feet tall. They said the suspect had brightly colored hair, shoulder length.
The man was finally seen escaping from a new white pickup truck, perhaps a Chevrolet or GMC area.
