Police in California’s Central Valley arrested a man last week on suspicion of impersonating a federal agent. Deputies said he found a collection of crude law enforcement equipment and costumes, as he owned.
According to the Madera County Sheriff’s Office, Andrew Biscay, 40, was arrested Friday on suspicion of possession of a makeshift weapon or other felony, impersonating a former US S.
Deputies received reports of family disturbances near Avenue 12 and Road 22. This resulted in a vehicle search where equipment was found for vehicle execution equipment. Biscay, 40, was arrested on suspicion of impersonating an officer in connection with an outstanding vandalism warrant.
The automatically manufactured firearm was recovered, according to sheriff’s deputies.

Photos posted online by the sheriff’s office show a Ford F-150 marking a star on the driver’s side door.
Biscay was booked on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges and was set to a $70,000 bail, officials said.

The arrest comes weeks after 57-year-old Vance Boerter allegedly fatally shot Minnesota Sen. and her husband in their home, pose as a police officer. In a March incident, a man along the river was arrested on suspicion of pulling an unsuspecting driver.
Recent ice attacks and arrests in Southern California flash weapons, but neither badges nor identifiable uniforms have driven unmarked vehicles and terrified many local law enforcement agents who don’t cover their faces. The Madera County Sheriff’s Office was unable to contact you immediately to comment on Biscay’s potential motives.
