Police and family are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who has gone missing after he was last seen in Lakewood Wednesday night.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department describes Colin Anthony Thorp II as a 28-year-old black male, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 175 pounds.
According to LASD, Thorpe was last seen on Dec. 11 around 11 p.m. in the 2000 block of Loomis Street in Lakewood. He was reportedly wearing cream-colored shorts and a black/gray shirt.

Additionally, LASD said Thorp has short black hair, brown eyes, a tattoo of a flower on his left arm, a tattoo of Chinese characters on his right arm, and wears braces and a goatee.
“Mr. Thorpe’s loved ones are concerned for his well-being and are asking for help,” a press release issued by LASD on Dec. 12 states.
Police did not immediately say whether Thorpe knew where he was going or whether he had been in contact with anyone before his disappearance.
