A 35-year-old San Bernardino County man was arrested Monday after authorities said an investigation revealed he had inappropriate communications with a minor online.
The investigation began in October 2023 after Crimes Against Children detectives received information from the Department of Children and Family Services implicating a 35-year-old man, according to a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department news release. started. Investigators identified the suspect as Chino Hills resident Timothy Holub (online screen name “httechtims5”).
“During online communications, Holub solicited minors to engage in lewd acts,” the release states.

A 35-year-old man was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga on charges of possession of child pornography, distribution or showing of minor pornography, and contact with a minor for a sexual offense.

Holub’s bail was set at $60,000. However, it is unclear whether he remains in custody.
Given the nature of the crime, detectives believed there may be more victims and released Holub’s photo for identification.
