Police are urging the community to be vigilant against loosely armed, dangerous murder suspects in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Police Department had no account of the suspect as of Monday night, but authorities were able to localize the location of the murders in Valley Village.
It happened on Saturday, April 26th, before 2:30pm in the 12600 block of Riverside Drive.
Patrol officers from the Van Nuys Division responded to radio calls for welfare checks in the apartment and arrived to find out that the man had been killed.
Details are limited, and LAPD only said the man was found dead inside his apartment. Authorities did not immediately provide further information regarding the murder itself if a weapon was used or if there was another crime related to this murder.
Furthermore, the murder victim’s identity was not released. “Notice to his near-kind is pending for his name,” LAPD said in the release. Paramedics from the LA Fire Station confirmed the death of the victim on the scene.
There was no suspected information available, but LAPD officials told KTLA on Monday that the suspect’s loss of failure was still concerned.
“If someone takes another person’s life and flees, I would consider them armed and dangerous,” an LAPD official told KTLA on Monday.
However, police did not say there was an immediate threat to the public.
