According to the new referendum, most Democrats disapprove of how their party members in Congress handle their work.

53% of Democrats asked in a Kinnipiac University survey released Wednesday, giving party members of parliament a thumbs down, with 41% approving the performance.

A poll conducted June 5-8 shows that only 21% of all voters who approved the way Congressional Democrats handed over the position were disapproved.

House Minority Leaders Hakeem Jeffries, Dn.Y., Right, on February 12, 2025, Senate Minority Leaders Chuck Schumer and Dn.Y. joined the US Capitol.

The 21% approval is the same as Quinnipiac’s national voting in February, consistent with “the lowest ever since Quinnipiac University first asked this question for registered voters in March 2009.”

The survey shows that 79% of GOP voters approve how Congressional Republicans handle their jobs, with 13% disapproving it.

Of all voters, 32% approved how GOP council members perform their duties, but more than six in 10 were disapproved.

Overall approval by Congressional Republicans has fallen by eight points since Quinnipiac’s February poll, with disapproval jumping nine points.

Democrats have been in the political wilderness since the November election, when Republicans gained control of the White House and Senate and defended a majority of their vulnerable homes. Republicans benefited among all traditional members of the Democratic foundations, black, Hispanic and young voters.

Since President Donald Trump returned to power earlier this year, the increasingly energised foundation of the Democrats has urged him to take a strong position when he opposes the president’s drastic and controversial agenda at the start of his second administration. And they feel their anger is directed not only at Republicans but also at Democrats, but they don’t speak up enough to oppose Trump.

And it encouraged the Democratic Party’s entry into favorable ratings.

A new poll from Kinipiac also shows a decline in Trump’s approval ratings among voters across the country.

38% of those questioned in the survey said they approved the way the president handled his duties, falling three points from the poll in early April.

54% in the new poll gave Trump a thumbs up on his job as president, falling one point from the April poll.

Trump’s approval rate was largely above water as he returned to the White House in late January, but his numbers quickly slipped through the water in many national surveys, remaining in the negative territory of the second administration for nearly five months.
