Post Dobbs shift to pills fighting abortion, funding in the aftermath of Dobbs

The 50-year battle to bring abortion back to the nation’s hands ended three years ago with the Supreme Court’s groundbreaking DOBBS decision, but the life support movement is now tackling a new reality. Abortions are still common.

Since securing a legal victory, the concentration of anti-abortion opponents has been more fragmented as they contest evidence that abortions have not decreased and may even increase.

Their next big challenge, they say, involves castration of Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion vendor, by targeting its funds. Restricting access to medications that end pregnancy is another top priority, like investing in your preferred political candidates and voting measures.

Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of SBA Pro-Life America, told Fox News Digital in an interview that Dobbs had spurred a “revolution,” but she admitted that she “has a lot to do.” She said the Charlotte Rosier Institute found a rise in abortions the year after DOBBS, with at least 1.1 million people occurring between July 2023 and June 2024.

“People can imagine a certain moment or just forget about it. [Dobbs] teeth. . . . Dannenfelser has made public public opinion based on where they actually stand, so “it’s wrong to think that it could happen overnight.

She said she feels the prospect of reimbursing planned custody through a broader settlement bill in Congress is “strong.” The measure bans Medicaid funds of entities that carry out abortions outside of rape, incest and threats to their mother’s lives.

Planned Parenthood said in a statement in May that after the bill passed the Republican-led House, the provision could eliminate other services other than abortion and cause shutters to occur at around 200 of the roughly 600 locations.

“If this bill is passed, people will lose access to essential, often life-saving care, including cancer screening, birth control, STI testing and abortion,” the organization said in a statement at the time.

In 2021, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) eliminated the requirement that customers must show up directly to receive mifepristone, a pill used to end pregnancy. The pills are now available via mail and are shipped nationwide from a variety of organizations, including most states where abortion bans are currently in place.

“Abortion drugs that are proliferating through big abortions and planned parent-child relationships are a direct attack on state sovereignty,” said Dunnenfelser, adding, “I say this is the pro-life law we want, so we’ll undermine it and promote it to promote their agenda.

Senators introduce legislation to curb widely used controversial abortion drugs

Advocates of abortion and abortion rights will meet outside the Supreme Court on the second anniversary of the DOBBS v. Jackson Women’s Health Agency’s decision held in Washington, DC on January 24, 2024.

Dannenfelser also mentions her group, who, alongside the campaign’s fundraising division, will pour $92 million into the 2024 election cycle and will focus on mid-race next year. She said she wants to maintain a “prolife administration, the House and Senate triple ecta.”

But some of those hoping to eliminate abortions say the current administration can do more to help their profits.

President Donald Trump admitted tolerance when he became the nearly 20 activists convicted of blocking the entrance to an abortion clinic, and the president often Roev. It promotes that he has appointed three justices who voted to overturn Wade.

However, in terms of abortion drugs, the Trump administration has recently moved to dismiss the case in court that aims to tighten FDA restrictions on Mifepristone. Trump has vowed to be Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is openly abortion access support.

Katie Zavios, national director of the American Life League, told Fox News Digital that he believes Trump was “not the most solid pro-life advocate.”

She said there was “no guardrails” in the Mifepristone distribution. Dozens of tissues now have easy access to the pills. Xavios said every abortion would be “Wild West” and the government must work proactively to contain it at this point.

“Unless you can hold a very genuinely pro-life person in office, I don’t think anyone will see them take it,” Zabius said.

The American Life League is a Catholic grassroots organization, and Xavios said one of her group’s efforts is to instill value in children who will lead them to choose an abortion when faced with an adulthood decision.

Dobbs wasn’t a victory on her side where people put it together, she said.

“I think we’re still seeing a bit of the reverberation in a move where a lot of people struggle to find a new legal battle,” Xavios said. “But the real question we still have is whether it’s legal or not, is whether people respect and value the dignity of the people who were actually born.”
