On Saturday, an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.5 struck the Inland Empire and was felt by residents across a wide area.
The earthquake was reported about 8 miles northwest of Fontana at 2:17 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
As of 2:40 p.m., there were no reports of injuries or damage.
