President Donald Trump gave some harsh words to Putin, China, during his 19th week in office

President Donald Trump notified Russian President Vladimir Putin and gave some harsh words to China and their ongoing trade negotiations during his 19th week in office.

“What Vladimir Putin doesn’t realize is that if it hadn’t been for me, something really bad would have already happened to Russia, and I mean that it’s really bad. He’s playing with fire!” Trump wrote in a Truth Social Post Tuesday morning.

Dmitry Medvedev, vice-chairman of the Russian Security Council and former President of Russia, responded in kind and issued his own words of caution to the United States.

“About Putin’s Putin and Trump’s words about “really bad things” happening in Russia. I know that it’s really bad – World War II. I hope Trump understands this! ” Medvedev wrote.

Trump’s remarks come as Russia has intensified its attacks on Ukraine in recent weeks and the US has tried to distance itself from conflict between the two countries. Meanwhile, Trump said Wednesday that Putin has limited time to come to the negotiation table and take serious effort on peace talks. Otherwise, the US may adopt a different approach, he said.

“We’re going to see if he’s smacking us. If he’s, we’ll deal with it a little differently, but it’s going to take about a week and a half to two weeks,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Wednesday.

That happened again this week.

Customs, duties, duties

Trump accused China of violating the early trade deal that Washington and Beijing hadhed out in May. Following these negotiations, the two countries agreed that the US would lower tariffs on Chinese imports from 145% to 30%, while China would reduce tariffs on US imports from 125% to 10%.

However, Trump said China did not comply with the terms of the contract without giving details.

“The bad news is, perhaps, not surprising to some, that it is completely violating the agreement with us,” Trump said in a social media post Friday. “That’s not so much to be Mr. Nice Guy!”

US trade representative Jamieson Greer said in an interview with CNBC after Trump’s post that China failed to remove the non-tariff barrier, as outlined in the transaction.

“The US is doing exactly what it is supposed to be, slowing down compliance that Chinese people are not fully accepted and have to deal with,” Greer said Friday.

Meanwhile, China urged the US to reverse the course and urged the US to deal with its own mistakes.

“We hope that China will once again immediately correct the wrong actions of the US, suspend discriminatory restrictions on China and jointly support the consensus reached in high-level consultations in Geneva,” Chinese embassy spokesman Liu Pengyu said in a statement Friday.

Canada’s Golden Dome Access?

Canada was also able to protect it from Trump’s so-called Golden Dome. If it becomes part of the United States, Trump has expressed interest in Canada becoming the 51st state and gaining Greenland and the Panama Canal.

“I want to be part of Canada’s amazing Golden Dome system. I said it would cost $61 billion if they are separate, but unequal countries, but if they’re in a precious 51st state, it costs $0 dollars.”

Trump has long established the Golden Dome, a US defense shield initiative similar to what Israel protects itself.
