President-elect Donald Trump has filed a motion to suspend the January 10 ruling in New York v. Trump, FOX Digital has learned.
“Today, President Trump’s legal team moved to block the Manhattan DA’s witch-hunt conviction. The Supreme Court’s historic ruling on immunity, the New York State Constitution, and other established precedents… I am ordering you to immediately reject this worthless fabrication,” President Trump’s press secretary and incoming White House communications director, Stephen Chan, told FOX Digital on Monday morning.

“The American people elected President Trump with overwhelming authority to demand an immediate end to the political weaponization of our justice system and all remaining witch hunts. We look forward to uniting our country with a new administration,” Chong continued.
New York Judge Juan Marchand set a sentencing date for Trump in the case earlier this month, ahead of the president’s inauguration on January 20. Trump’s sentence is scheduled to be handed down on Friday, January 10th at 9:30 a.m.

“In effect, legal scholars and commentators say there is no case against me. The judge fabricated the facts and the law. It is no different than any other judicial and prosecutorial witch hunt in New York. That’s why companies are fleeing New York, millions of jobs and billions of dollars. Taxes are being taken away, the legal system is broken, and corporations cannot stand a chance of getting caught up in this quicksand. It’s all set against a political enemy, in this case me!” He posted about the incident on Truth Social on Sunday night.
