President-elect Donald Trump has indicated plans to issue 100 or about 100 executive orders after taking office, senators and news outlets have indicated, although the numbers vary somewhat.
President Trump, who will take office later this month on January 20, met with Senate Republicans on Wednesday.
Appearing on “Fox & Friends” Thursday morning, Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.) suggested that President Trump has close to 100 executive orders to address issues such as border security and U.S. energy. He said he did.

The Associated Press claimed that President Trump had prepared more than 100 executive orders since day one and notified Republican senators during the meeting. “It’s going to be a significant number,” Democratic Sen. John Hoeven said, according to the newspaper.
Fox News Digital reached out to President Trump’s press secretary for comment via email on Saturday, but did not receive a response in time for publication.
