President Trump reports that illegal immigrants will meet at historic lows in the first month of his inauguration

President Donald Trump declared on social media on Saturday afternoon that “our country’s invasion is over.”

In a post about True Society, Trump conveyed concerns about illegal immigration by the Border Patrol on the southern border. They all “were either immediately evicted from our country or charged with crimes against the United States, if necessary.”

The Trump administration’s arrests in the first month represent a 96% drop from the Biden administration’s high, in December 2023, when CBP reported 301,981 encounters at the tropical border.

“This means that a very small number of people have come. Our country’s invasion is over,” Trump wrote in the Post. “In comparison, under Joe Biden, 300,000 illegal actors crossed in a month, virtually everything was released to our country. Thanks to the policies of the Trump administration, the borders are closed to all illegal immigrants.”

In 2024, Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) reported 271,484 removals, while the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reported approximately 700,000 removals and returns over the previous year since 2010.

The Biden administration spent a repetitive day when anxiety rose to 10,000 illegal immigrants, surpassing the new administration’s monthly total.

The Trump administration’s achievements only arise from executive action and more stringent messaging after the border bill was not signed.

“Anyone who attempts to enter the United States illegally will face serious criminal penalties and immediate deportation,” the president wrote.

After campaigning heavily on border security and cracking down on illegal immigration, Trump declared a national emergency at the border and signed an executive order that deployed US troops to combat the surge.

He also signed an order to end birthright citizenship, halted hospitalizations for refugees, ended use of the app at tropical borders, granted immigration via humanitarian parole, and resumed construction of border walls.

The Department of Defense intervened, deploying troops to the southern border and opening Guantanamo Bay to immigrants.

The ice restrictions previously introduced by the Biden administration were overturned by the DHS, allowing law enforcement to enter “sensitive” locations, provide quick removals and check the parole status of parole immigrants.

According to DHS data obtained by Fox News Digital, there were 11,791 internal ice outages from January 20th to February 8th, an increase of 137% compared to 4,969 in the same period in 2024.

Many famous attacks in the “sanctuary” city led to more than 1,000 arrests daily, including violent criminals and gang members.

The country also benefits financially from the new Trump border policy, reclaiming tens of millions of dollars from New York City, which was designated as a hotel where immigrants are housed.

A recent order has directed all federal agencies to identify all federal funding programs that provide economic benefits to illegal immigrants and to “take corrective action.”

The goal of the order is to ensure that federal funds are not used to support sanctuary policies or to support illegal immigration.
