Reese Witherspoon revealed who will play Elle Woods, her well-known character, in the upcoming prequel to “Legally Blonde.”
what? Is it difficult?
it has been.
Witherspoon posted a video on Instagram about her revealing to actress Lexi Minnetley that she had got the part.
In the video, Witherspoon expressed his excitement about bringing the news to Minnetley before she walks into the door.
“Your audition tape was amazing,” Witherspoon advertised. “The other day we had to make some really difficult decisions. You just worked really hard and wanted to tell you that you didn’t need to audition again, so you told me in person. That’s it.
Minnetley immediately shed tears of disbelief before asking the “Morning Show” actress if she could hold her.
After some laughs and embraces, Witherspoon calls Minnetley to let her mother know that her daughter has won the role.
“I really wanted to share some good news, but I actually want to share it with Lexi,” she said after introducing herself.
“I’m Elle Woods!” Minnetry squealed.
“Isn’t that crazy? When I saw her tape, I was like, ‘Are we the same people? This is so strange’,” Witherspoon told Minnetley’s mother, Anne. He spoke.
“I’m very excited!” Minnetley said after getting off the phone.
Minetree went to Instagram and thanked Amazon Studios, the media company Hello Sunshine of Witherspoon, director Jason T. Moore and Witherspoon.
“I already love her so much, so I promise she’s in a good hand,” she assured Witherspoon. “PS Thank you for telling me how great I am in the future. I look forward to it.”
She thanked her hairdresser for helping her go to blonde in May when she had a “random whim” to change her hair color. “I borrow a lot of time from you!! Don’t worry about Amazon, I won’t change from blonde anytime soon!”
Witherspoon starred as the main character in the original “legal blonde” film in 2001, based on Amanda Brown’s comic novel. The film’s sequel, “Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde,” was released in 2003. The musical was also adopted from the original film.
The first part of “Legally Blonde” is set to premiere on Prime Video, but no release date has been set yet.
