Exclusive: Leaders of a progressive group outside New York City are about to protest against Republican City Hall on the frontline home on Sunday night.

Footage from Wednesday’s inseparable Rockland Organising Committee monthly meeting shows one of the group’s leaders “potentially discussing. [having] Thousands of people came forward at the West Nyack event held by RN.Y. Rep. Mike Lawler this weekend.

“It’s a long street and we’re trying to fill the whole street, so everyone who comes to the rally sees the people there and realizes that it’s not everything.

Jangil is also a local elected official in the Lawler district and serves as the Nyack Village council and vice mayor.

“We hope we can push back some rules that we think are cutting and chilling rights to the first amendment, as we say we can’t record it. It’s a public meeting,” Jangires said.

He said the demonstrations outside Roller’s City Hall were also an effort by the joint organisation, along with “local trade unions” and other groups.

And she revealed that her group was only behind the demonstration outside the Roller rally, but local elected officials appeared to support the confusion within the event.

She added that the rules of the rally “have made it very clear that you can’t scream, yell or scream anything, but “There’s something you don’t want to hear from him and you should be able to let him know.”

“If he’s just booing him and kicking people out, I think it looks poor on him.

“If people are screaming slur and hate speech right now, that’s where I absolutely draw the line… It’s just feeding his argument that we’re all crazy leftists and liberals, in contrast to those who live in this community.”

Jean Gill said she and other activists will also prepare the proposed questions to city hall attendees.

“We’re ready and this will be something we might hand out that day. A few of us have been working on questions that people would want to ask or give their own personal twist,” the official said. “So we get people who prepare for people. If you haven’t thought of yourself yet, we have a question you’re ready to ask, just in case their numbers are called.”

Indivisible is a national leftist organisation where local derivatives have targeted Republican city halls for most of the year, encouraging activists to disrupt events both inside and outside.

The event listed by indivisible organizing platforms is to promote an all-day event that starts in New York City and ends at Roller’s City Hall on Sunday.

“Republicans plan to cut Medicaid, SNAP and other important programs to fund massive billionaires tax cuts. Congress should go home for an April break and hear from us,” the event summary read.

“I will join other activists to notify you of this outrageous bill in NY17/Tarrytown, urge Lawler to oppose it, and attend Lawler Town Hall Rep. on April 27th.

Democrats are poised to put a lot of time and resources into New York’s 17th Congressional District. Roller is widely viewed as one of the most vulnerable House Republicans of the 2026 election cycle.

Lawler spokesman Ciro Riccardi told Fox News Digital when contacted to comment on plans to disrupt future City Halls. “It is extremely disappointing that radical groups on the left and right, like inseparable Rockland, are planning to disrupt future City Halls.”

“These actions undermine our democratic processes by suppressing private debate and hurting the highly voters who attend to discuss important voter issues. We are committed to promoting open and respectful dialogue and taking precautions to ensure a safe environment for all attendees,” Ricardi said.

Jangill digitally introduced Fox News to the inseparable Rockland Organising Committee for comments.

When it was reached, the group’s steering committee said it had received “hundreds” messages from constituents who were unable to enter Roller’s City Hall.

“In response, we decided to organize a peaceful demonstration outside the venue. This demonstration is intended to give voice to those who have been removed from the room but want to be part of the democratic process. We want to make it clear that we do not organize or support the protests within the town hall.”

“It is also important to recognize the truth of the matter. This so-called town hall offers a very limited opportunity for real public engagement. It is not right, it is not fair, and in fact it is against the spirit of the Constitution.”

Regarding Jangir, the group in particular noted that she hosts the event in a personal capacity that is unrelated to the role of government.

“Her comments at the private organising meeting reflect the consensus of our group and are not related to her official role or Nyack’s governance. She has accurately emphasized the value of free expression and clear boundaries against hate speech and harassment,” the group said.

“I hope Rep. Lawler does more than see this demonstration. I hope he listens. They are his components. They are the families, workers, students and neighbors who are deeply caring and demanding that this community be heard.
