Protesters targeted several Los Angeles County hotels where ice agents are believed to be staying overnight.
A crowd of about 50-75 people waving flags in front of the embassy suite at the Hilton Hotel Downey, holding signs of reading “Dehumanized Ice” in early Thursday morning hours.
The protesters played music loudly and used bullhorns to make as much noise as possible after learning that ICE agents were believed to be staying at a hotel in Firestone Boulevard.
Cloud members said they were expressing concern about the agency’s activities in the city on Wednesday. There, 12 people were reportedly detained during the migrant sweeps.

Rev. Tanya Lopez, senior pastor at Downey Memorial Christian Church, explained that he had witnessed five men in plain clothes with police badges and bulletproof vests detaining individuals.
“He might have been walking down the street and opted to walk through the parking lot,” Lopez said. “A lot of people do that all the time.”
Video recorded Wednesday showed the agent chasing the man through a Downey car wash. There, the owner said two workers were in custody.
More protests were seen overnight outside the Doubletree by Hilton in Whittier, where it was believed that ice agents were also staying there.

The demonstrations began in peace, but quickly turned when protesters began painting and crushing the building’s windows.
Law enforcement deployed flash bang devices to disperse the crowd. It was unclear whether the arrest had been made.
An overnight demonstration was reported outside the Hilton hotel in Glendale.
Hotel staff have not confirmed the presence of ice agents on the premises.
