Seawater at several beaches in Los Angeles County continues to test positive for dangerous levels of bacteria.
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health advises beachgoers to avoid swimming, surfing, and playing in the water in the following areas:
Topanga Canyon Beach in Malibu 100 yards up and down the coast from the lagoon South Tower 20 Pico Kenter Storm Drain near Santa Monica Beach 100 yards up and down the coast from the storm drain Pulga Storm Drain in Will Rogers State Beach 100 yards Dan Blocker County Beach Stormwater Drain from Solstice Creek Down the coast, 100 yards up and down from the shore. Creek Marie Canyon Storm Drain at Puerco Beach 100 yards up and down the shore from the public access stairs Inner Cabrillo Beach at San Pedro Entire swimming area Mother’s Beach at Marina del Rey Entire swimming area Santa Monica Pier at Santa Monica 100 yards down the shore from the pier
