Exclusive: The Department of Homeland Security has ended its quiet empty program, leaving some Americans with additional screenings for airport security.

The department says that institutions are overpoliticized, either benefiting or hurting certain people, running bills of around $200 million a year. According to DHS, the program maintained its watch list as well as a list of people exempted. The department says that quiet skies do not prevent terrorist attacks, but will continue to use other methods to ensure safe air travel.

“It is clear that the quiet sky program was used as the Biden administration’s political lorodex. It was exploited to oppose political enemies and benefit his heeled friends. I am calling for Congressional investigations to unearth more corruption at the expense of Americans.”

In an effort to “threate” her after criticism of Harris, Gabbard “slammed politically motivated ‘surveillance’.

According to DHS, the exemption list for those who avoid “security policies” includes “foreign royals, political elites, professional athletes, and supported journalists.”

The program, launched in 2010, is considered a terrorist prevention method and faces scrutiny from the left and right, including groups like the American Civil Liberties Union.

“The TSA’s critical aviation and security review capabilities will remain in place, and the Trump administration will return the TSA to its true mission of focusing on travel safety and security, including restoring integrity, privacy and equal application for all Americans,” Noem continued.

Federal Airlines S watched Gabbard, a member of Trump’s minister, in 2024, says Randpole.

Travelers will pass through Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Arlington, Virginia on May 24, 2024. The AAA project brings about 44 million travelers to more than 50 miles of this anniversary holiday. This has not been seen since 2005.

In 2018, the ACLU asked Transportation Security Administration for details about the program.

“TSA is engaged in the secret surveillance of travelers and raises many disturbing questions along the way. The program’s existence is now open to the public, but TSA keeps almost everything else about the secrets of the program,” said Hugh Handyside, senior staff attorney for the ACLU National Security Project, in a 2018 news release.

“Travelers deserve to know how this surveillance is being implemented, whether it is the result of Americans, and how long the TSA has kept the information they have seen so far. What we’ve seen so far is troubling, which means that it requires TSA’s handovers to be hidden by the public. Detect, “Screening and monitoring travelers who have done nothing wrong,” he added.

The DHS pointed to certain circumstances that William Shaheen, husband of New Hampshire Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, was removed from the list after reaching out to the former TSA chief during the 2023 Biden administration. DHS said he went three times, saying he “traveled with known or suspected terrorists.”

The Senator’s office checked with CBS News, which contacted the TSA after dealing with severe security obstacles while her husband was flying, but was unaware of a specific list where he or she was or was not. The outlet reported that he was flying with his lawyer was subject to the terrorism flag.

The department also cited Tarshi Gabbard’s past placement in the silent partner’s list of quiet empty.

Fox News Digital has reached out to Shaheen’s office for comment.
