Hopefully the stars bring umbrellas to Hollywood as they could get wet around the red carpet on Oscar Sunday.
According to the National Weather Service, some shower activities were scheduled to begin overnight in the Central Coast and Ventura County and move south.
“[We’re seeing an] A sinister sky, so again, know that showers are predicted for us today. But said KTLA meteorologist Kacey Montoya. “Light in nature.”

The NWS predicted that the rain would hit the Los Angeles area, primarily before 10am, and sighed at Academy Awards attendees in a relief. However, some of the scattered showers are possible, but the total rain in LA is expected to remain below a tenth of an inch.
That rainfall continues to move south throughout Sunday. Most inland communities, including the counties of Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino, receive about a tenth of an inch of rain.
Meanwhile, people over 3,500 feet should expect snow on Sunday with cold temperatures.
