President Donald Trump has argued that he will pass an ongoing resolution to avoid shutting down the government, RC Ralph Norman. – Members of the House Freedom Caucus, which is promoting constitutional reforms for term-limited Congressmen, told Fox News Digital in an interview Thursday that he is not in favor of a normally continuing resolution, but supports passing one in this case.
Norman said “What’s different now is the effort to find waste, fraud and abuse. Under Trump’s direction, lawmakers who said Elon Musk was discovering “overexpenditures” showed that it would “take time” to sort out the good from the bad guys in the federal government.
“We’ve never had it before,” he pointed out.

Trump has been talking about ideas for an ongoing solution.
“We run out of government funds next week and Democrats are threatening to shut down the government. But I have worked with great House Republicans to work together on an ongoing resolution to fund the government until September, giving us the time we need to tackle our agenda,” the president declared in the post.
“Conservatives will love this bill because this year we will effectively freeze, continue our work and set up us to reduce the taxes and spending of the settlement, while allowing us to make America great again.

Norman said he believes that for the next six months, 12 budgets, 26 budgets, will be passed on time.
Lawmakers who have been in the House since mid-2017 have been pushing for proposed constitutional reforms to limit federal lawmakers, blocking the prolonged DC Power Bubble in 10 years, as some politicians are doing now.
Dozens of House Republicans, and even a few Democrats, support the proposal Norman reintroduced this year. It previously failed to clear the House Judiciary Committee in 2023, but several Republicans voted against moving forward.
The proposal limits politicians to three House conditions and two Senate conditions, but provides that conditions held before the amendment ratification will not count.

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and more than a dozen other GOP senators are pushing forward with proposed constitutional reforms in the Senate.
Showing that working as a lawmaker in DC is not “rocket science,” Norman suggested that the role is equipped with people with business experiences that have earned money and lost.
