Red State, which will donate Trump-approved Bible to classrooms, “Praying America Again”

Oklahoma’s public leadership superintendent Ryan Walters has partnered with country singer Lee Greenwood to donate the Trump-seen God Bless the USA Bible to state classrooms.

Inspired by the song of Greenwood’s hit “God Bless the USA,” this unique Bible contains King James’s interpretation of the Bible, texts from the Constitution and Declaration of Independence, and several other founding documents.

While campaigning in 2024, President Donald Trump supported the American Bible for God’s blessing, saying, “For your heart, for your soul, you need to have it.”

In a video promoting the Bible released last year, Trump said, “We must pray to America again.”

“All Americans need the Bible in their homes,” Trump said. “This Bible is a reminder that our religion is the greatest thing we need to bring America back and make America great again.”

“Religion and Christianity are the biggest things we lack from this country,” he continued. “We believe we have to get them back and we have to get them back quickly. I think that’s one of our biggest problems. So our country is taking away hay. We’ve lost religion in our country.”

In an interview with Republican Fox News Digital, he said in line with those efforts, he was partnered with Greenwood to collect donations and sent to classrooms to bless the American Bible to buy “without the nation.”

“We need to understand the values of Judaism and Christianity that were so important in American history… and I think a big part of that is getting the Bible back in the classroom,” he said.

So far, Walters said more than 500 Trump-approved Bibles have been donated to classrooms throughout the state.

For him, the effort is to fight “state-sponsored atheism” advanced by teachers rubbing references to the Bible from American history.

“If you go to the classroom, “Well, we’re going to teach you about American history, except that we’re trying to rubbish references to the Bible. You’ve turned this into atheism.[So]we are extremely excited to see patriotic Americans across the country step up to not allow state-sponsored atheism. ”

“I just teach history,” he continued. “When George Washington talks about the Bible, when the Pilgrims talk about the Bible, when they talk about the Bible, when they talk about the Bible, then you have to teach the history of the children, so they can learn from it.

“It’s our history,” he said. “So we’re going to teach that here in Oklahoma.”

Commenting on the campaign, Greenwood told Fox News Digital that he felt he had offered to offer to partner with Oklahoma in Walter’s defense of bringing the Bible back to American classrooms.

“As a steadfast and faithful Christian, this was very appealing to me,” he explained.

Greenwood said the campaign has “feeling some attention,” and his team is talking to corporate partners about buying a large amount of Bible.

“Where I go – on tours and special events – people are coming up to me who appreciate what we’re doing,” he said. “No one is shy about their support for this effort.”
