RFK Jr. attracts millions from Duke Health amid DEI concerns
First Fox: Duke Health, the medical division of Duke University in North Carolina, looks at more than $100 million in federal funds frozen in accordance with President Donald Trump’s executive order banning DEI practices.
In a letter to President Duke’s letter to President Vincent Price, board member Adam Silver and medical school chair Dean Mary Clotman, secretaries Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Linda McMahon outlined racial preferences in recruitment, student admission, governance and patient care.
“The United States invests in medicine and research because of the sacredness of human life and the value of human health,” the letter reads.
“There is no other area of the education system where rejection of merit is more dangerous than medicine, the ability of a doctor means the difference between life and death of a patient, and scientific discoveries mean the difference between life-saving treatments and disease assault.”
