A months of investigation into illegal firearm sales has led to the arrest of two relatives, an investigation into crime-criminal gang members, authorities said.
A press release from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office says officials from the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force began an investigation into illegal gun trade in January.
The investigation led to a search warrant being executed on Friday in the 600 block of Hummingbird Drive, San Jacinto, RCSO said.
“During the search, deputies illegally seized 18 people who owned firearms, including four attacking rifles and a 5.7mm semi-automatic pistol equipped with ammunition designed to penetrate body armor,” officials said. “The lawmakers also seized about 20 large-capacity magazines and three 50-round drum magazines.”

Two men were arrested as a result of a search warrant: Voonggray Jr., 48, of San Jacinto and Voonggray III, 28, of Blythe;
Elder Gray was booked for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition and possession of an attacking rifle.
Young Gray was booked for the same price, in addition to accusations of intentionally selling firearms to banned people and intentionally selling them as a member of a gang involved in the sale of firearms.
