A 23-year-old man has been charged with three counts of murder after three family members, including an 8-year-old girl, a 16-year-old boy and a 44-year-old woman, were found dead. inside his Baldwin Park home, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday.
Kyle Chester de los Reyes also faces special charges of using a deadly weapon and committing multiple murders in the Dec. 26 tragedy in the 4700 block of Bogart Avenue.
Arriving officers found the suspect sitting in a vehicle in the driveway and took him into custody after he attempted to flee and crashed at the end of a cul-de-sac.

Authorities did not provide details on the relationship between de los Reyes and the victims, who were found with multiple stab wounds, but acknowledged that de los Reyes was a family member.
Police earlier confirmed there were several other children living in the home, but no additional injuries were reported. Neighbors said they heard a man screaming and screaming during the fatal incident.
Investigators have not released a motive for the stabbing.
“My office will continue to work tirelessly to ensure justice is served in this devastating act of violence that has rocked our community and changed families forever,” said the district attorney. Nathan Hockman said.
De los Reyes is being held without bail and is scheduled for arraignment in Los Angeles County Superior Court on January 15.
