“I cannot imagine under any circumstances or administration that ATF would serve as an ally to Second Amendment and law-abiding firearms owners across America,” Boebert said.
“ATF represents a deep state bureaucracy that believes it can violate constitutional freedoms without consequences,” Burlison added. “If this institution cannot fulfill its duty to serve the people within the framework of the Constitution, then there is no role for our government.”

The ATF repeal bill includes Congressional representatives Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), Mike Collins (R-Ga.), Bob Onder (R-Missouri), and Andy Ogles (R-Tennessee). There are seven co-sponsors, including the state Republican Party. , Mary Miller (R-Ill.), Keith Self (R-Texas), and Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.).
ATF did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

In a previous interview with Fox News Digital, Burlison argued that it would be better to leave the law enforcement responsibilities handled by the ATF to the states.
