House Republicans said President Donald Trump should keep the proposed mineral deal with Ukraine on the table despite a public office showdown with Ukrainian President Voldymee Zelensky on Friday.
“I hope Zelenskyy returns to the President with humility and appreciates that he is willing to get those business benefits,” R-Texas Rep. Chip Roy told Fox News Digital on Tuesday.
He added that it was a “really great” way for Ukraine to let Russia know that America was on its side.
“We hope we’ll go down that path,” Roy said of the proposed deal.
