While American taxpayers are well versed in filing their annual federal tax and realizing how much Uncle Sam is taking away from the money he earned, several House Republicans are pushing for the Internal Revenue Service, proposals to take some things from the guns and ammunition.
“Why the IRS is Necessary” disarms federal agencies, prohibits internal revenue commissioners from using funds to purchase, receive or store firearms and ammunition, and requires the transfer to the IRS general services manager.
The gun is then sold or auctioned to license dealers, and ammunition is generally auctioned.
Proceeds will be sent to the “Treasury General Fund for the sole purpose of reducing the deficit,” and this measure is stipulated.

The bill states that “it will be transferred to the Department of Justice and that the functions, staff and assets of the authorities, the Internal Revenue Service’s criminal investigation unit, will be maintained as a clear body within the Department of Justice’s criminal division, including the relevant functions of the Secretary of the Treasury.”
R-Ala. Rep. Barry Moore has introduced the measure supported by three former co-hosts. GOP representatives, Harriet Hagan of Wyoming, Mary Miller of Illinois, and Clay Higgins of Louisiana.
On its website, the IRS states that its mission is to “provide the highest quality services by helping American taxpayers understand and fulfill their tax responsibilities and enforce the law with integrity and fairness to all.”

However, Moore argued that federal agencies are regularly “weaponized.”
“The IRS is consistently weaponized against American citizens, targeted religious groups, journalists, gun owners and everyday Americans,” Moore argued, according to a press release.
“Armbling these agents makes the American people less secure, because why the IRS needs guns, my law disarms these agents, auctions guns to federal firearm licensees, and sells ammunition to the public.

In a post on April 15th by X Moore, “Tax Day is a reminder that it’s time for the IRS to stop wasting guns and ammunition stockpiling taxpayer dollars.”
