Republicans accused President Joe Biden of being “soft on crime” after the White House announced its decision to commute the sentences of nearly all of President Joe Biden’s federal death row inmates.
Sen. Tom Cotton said, “Joe Biden is a disturbed, corrupt, psychotic failure. The White House is in a state of memory as Biden is being manipulated by corrupt children and a Marxist staff. Cotton will be the next chairman of the Senate Republican Conference and the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

“Violent murderers should not have their sentences commuted,” Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) said on X. “We have to end decriminalization policies.”
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) called the move “a slap in the face to the families who have suffered untold suffering at the hands of these animals.”
While Republicans expressed displeasure, some Democrats welcomed Biden’s announcement.
