Residents of Studio City apartments faced off against the mail thief and suspect in a confrontation involving a mace and a knife on Tuesday night.

Bremer, who had blood all over his arm, said the man tried to escape as Bremer tried to steal the key.

When that didn’t work, Bremer got a baseball bat and hit the windshield at the front of the man’s jeep.

Several other residents were also involved in the conflict to prevent the men from running away.

The Jeep was left with broken windows and flat tires. Several other residents were also involved in the conflict to prevent the men from running away. The man managed to escape, but the car was left behind.

LAPD was unable to confirm whether the man was the same person seen in Flyers regarding the theft of the mail.
