Developer and former candidate Rick Caruso announced on Monday that it will launch a Foundation to rebuild the community destroyed by the Parisard and Eaton fire.
The Foundation is called Steadfast La, which seems to accelerate the rebuilding efforts by linking the private sector to the public sector.
“We are not only reconstructed these communities and returned people to home, but not our responsibilities. It is our job, we are rolling up the sleeves to achieve it.” Caruso stated in a statement.
“This is not related to conferences or documents. It is to pollute our hands, break through obstacles, and reconstruct them physically -each brick, street -by streets.”
He has been criticized by the Los Angeles government since the budget of the Los Angeles Fire Bureau, a shortage of water in reservoirs, and a shortage of firefighting resources. He ran for Mayor Los Angeles in 2022 and lost to the current Mayor Karen Bus.
According to Caruso, the organization has five important pillars. These are infrastructure, reconstruction, community, communication, and resilience.
The Foundation is initially operated by Gloves, a shopping center he owns in Westros Angeles.
The three houses owned by Caruso and his family were destroyed by the Parisards in Parisade. It is thought to be the third destructive mountain fire recorded in California.
The Parisade Fire and Eaton Fires began on January 7 on January 7 in a fierce Santaanana storm that instigated the flame with a 60-80 -mile wind gust of 60-80 miles per hour.
