Last week, 47 stores in nine states, including California, were identified in court documents that are likely to close as part of the first wave of closures. Court documents filed Friday identified another 68 stores in seven states.

These closures are pending court approval.

Even if local ritual aid is not on this list, or if it was not included in the previously announced wave of closures, it doesn’t mean it’s open. Almost every remaining 1,240 stores on Rite Aid will be selling flyers that will be shared with Nexstar WHTM, which was confirmed last week.

Rite Aid previously said stores remain open as they work with customers to transfer prescriptions elsewhere. The exact closure timeline is not outlined.

Customers must use Rite Aid gift cards, coupons or rewards until June 6th. Returns or exchanges will be processed or accepted until June 4th.
