RNC warns DEMS: government shuts down ‘losing issues’

Republican National Committee co-chair Mike Whatley joins the “American Newsroom” to discuss the Democrats whose party chose a new chairman to threaten the government’s shutdown to President Donald Trump’s enforcement actions.

The RNC is attracting Mike Ambrosini and serving as Chief of Staff. Ambrosini previously served as director of party strategy for the RNC. He also served in the first Trump administration, serving as a role in the private sector Congress, and serving as executive director of the Michigan Republican Party.

An RNC official told Fox News Digital that Ambrosini was “the perfect person to take everyone to the table, navigate the challenges and implement a winning strategy.”

Whatley also attracted Rob Secaur as the political director of the new RNC. Secaur served as Political Director for the RNC Region before serving as the deputy political director of the 2024 Trump Campaign.

To perform messaging, Whatley tapped Zach Parkinson as RNC communications director. Parkinson served as research director and assistant communications director for the RNC, which oversees the opposition research and rapid response efforts for the GOP.

Parkinson also provided research on the Trump 2024 campaign. He served as assistant communications director for the Trump 2020 campaign. From 2017 to 2019, he played a communication and research role at the Trump White House.

Meanwhile, to run GOP Finance, Mallory Gerndt has been promoted to finance director from his current role in the RNC finance team, which he has been working for since 2017.

Gerndt was the RNC’s Deputy Finance Director throughout the 2024 election cycle.

An RNC official told Fox News Digital that Gerndt has a reputation for “setting and meeting funding goals to help President Trump reach America’s first agenda.”

Whatley also announced Zach Imel as RNC data director. IMEL served as Director of Team Trump’s external data and voter contacts during the 2024 campaign. Previously, he oversaw RNC data efforts during the 2022 and 2020 cycles.

Whatley also brought Brent Brooks to serve as digital director. Brooks has raised millions of dollars and plays a “significant role” in developing “voting,” according to a GOP official. The RNC called it “an important app that allows Republican voters to join, take action, take action and vote with millions of Republican voters.” , wins in 2024. ”

Regarding RNC initiatives across the country, Whatley closed Tom Smithfield and served as party strategy director.

Smithfield served as Deputy Director of Party Strategy during the 2024 cycle and in 2022 he served as Deputy Director of National Field. Smithfield was Trump’s victory in Pennsylvania in 2020 and as assistant state director of the Pennsylvania GOP in 2018.

Whatley told Fox News Digital that Republicans are planning to “look for the future” just as Trump “will “convey his promises.”

“The RNC will play a pivotal role,” Whatley said. “Our teams will continue to grow our party, vote, secure elections, and continue to win.”
