Police on Tuesday continued searching for three criminals who broke into Torrance’s home during the day and took off in a planned holiday vehicle.
Police say between 1:50pm and 2:20pm on last Saturday, three people broke into a Torrance Boulevard home between 1:50pm and 2:20pm on last Saturday. Investigators believe the burglar will force the front door to open while the homeowner is away.
When the homeowner returned to the house, two robbers were inside the property with a variety of stolen items, including handguns.
Witnesses said the third suspect was waiting for two robbers in an old green model BMW and quickly took off from the crime scene.
Police sought tips from the public to help catch the three criminals.
“We are urging anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the neighborhood at the time of the incident, or anyone with information about the details of the suspect, especially those with details regarding the Green BMW sedan, to move forward,” Torrance police said in a statement.
