The Rolex stolen by Keanu Reeves has been found in Chile.
A $9,000 Rolex Submariner with Reeves’ name engraved on it was discovered when police searched four homes in Santiago. The watch is believed to have been stolen from Reeves’ home in the Hollywood Hills in December 2023. Two of Reeves’ other watches, which police say are valuable, were also discovered during a cleanup linked to a series of local robberies, CNN reported.
A 21-year-old man was arrested.
Reeves, perhaps best known for starring in the “John Wick” film series, had his name and the words “2021, JW4, thank you, John Wick Five” engraved on his Rolex watch.
The first “John Wick” begins with Reeves playing a former hitman seeking revenge after his home is broken into and his dog is killed.
According to CNN, Reeves reportedly gifted a Rolex Submariner to a stuntman he worked with on John Wick: Chapter 4.
Intruders are not uncommon at Reeves’ home. Last December, police were called to a property on Thrasher Avenue after receiving a report of a robbery. The Los Angeles Police Department reported that the robbers “entered the property through the backyard and broke a window to gain entry.” Reeves was not home at the time.
Reeves’ home was the scene of a series of break-ins in 2014. In one case, Reeves confronted an intruder in his home library, and the other day, a cleaner found him in his pool.
Early last year, Reeves filed for a temporary restraining order against a man who allegedly trespassed on the actor’s property at least six times between November 2022 and January 2023. In one case, the suspected stalker left behind a backpack containing a DNA testing kit. He intended to use it to show that he had some connection to Reeves, according to the application for the order.
