Last year, a bronze sculpture depicting the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, was displayed in his oval office on Friday.
The commanding version of the iconic art, which appeared to be at least 12 inches tall, was seen next to Trump’s determined desk as he signed a series of executive orders in front of the press.
It depicts the iconic image of the day of Trump being carried off stage by three Secret Service members, including the agency’s current director, Sean Curran, after firing several bullets from the rooftop near Butler Farm Showground on July 13th.

Trump dives into the ground as the bullets roar and he is lifted up to his feet by an agent from the Secret Service.
As they tried to remove him from the stage, Trump stopped and turned to the crowd, clutching his fist into the air, cried out, “Fight! Fight! Fight!” Blood drips from his ears after being grazed with bullets.
The image quickly went viral, becoming the decisive moment of the 2024 presidential election, depicting the powerful symbolism of Trump’s resilience, courage and fearlessness. The event revitalized Trump’s base and influenced others and delayed his campaign.

The sculpture itself is rendered in a dark bronze tone covered in vertically covered old glory flags.
The White House had not said why the statue was there that day or whether it was presented to the president.
The piece looks like a proposed statue maquette in the work of Stan Watts, an artist who plans to create a nine-foot replica to honor the president.
“This powerful image embodies confidence, strength and hope will become immortal in this nine-foot-high statue,” reads the group’s website. “It symbolizes God’s intervention and his message of unity and resilience that America stands out.”

Watts also created prominent statues of founders John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Martin Luther King Jr., and 9/11 firefighters raising American flags at the World Trade Center.
Last year, Butler artist Bill Seconda revealed that he had created a life-size sculpture of Trump made of nails to show his failed assassination attempt.
