Three weeks after a Los Angeles-area teen was reported missing, nonprofits across the country are expanding their search through smart devices nationwide.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is helping to search for 17-year-old Kona Baynham, who was last seen on May 9th.
Authorities believe Baynham stayed in the LA area, but have not ruled out that he may have traveled to nearby cities.
He is 6 feet 2 inches tall and is said to weigh about 170 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown hair, officials said.
He may also need to see a doctor, NCMEC said.
“Kona’s family is very concerned about his safety and wants nothing more than to get him home,” the organization said in a news release issued Thursday.
