Several new road closures around the Palisades and Eaton fires were announced Thursday morning as nearly 7,500 firefighters battle blazes across Los Angeles County and tens of thousands of people remain evacuated.

Palisades Fire at Pacific Palisaders
Pacific Coast (1) Highway: Southbound between Malibu Canyon Road and Santa Monica (10) Highway closed northbound from McClure Tunnel Pacific Coast Highway (State Route 1) closed to Yerba Closed between Buena Road and Decker Canyon Road (State Route 23) Santa Monica (10) Freeway: Westbound on Lincoln Boulevard, 4th and 5th Streets. Ramps from Street to Topanga Canyon (27) Boulevard: Completely closed between PCH and Mulholland Drive. All other local roads in the Santa Monica Mountains area are open to residents and emergency vehicles only

Angeles Crest (2) Highway: Eastbound from Angeles National Forest entrance to the base of Big Tujunga Road (210) Highway: Westbound and eastbound on the entrance ramp from Arroyo Boulevard San Gabriel Canyon (39) Road: Beyond Azusa The north side is completely closed to traffic, and entry is only possible for residents. Eastbound Angeles Crest Highway (State Route 2) runs from 3.5 miles north of Interstate 210 to Upper Big Tujunga Road Windsor Avenue between Ventura Street and W. Woodbury Road. Traffic was closed to 300 feet west. Casitas Avenue between Ventura Street and W Woodbury Road Lincoln Avenue between W Loma Alta Drive and W Woodbury Road. Glenrose Avenue between W Loma Alta Drive and W Woodbury Road. Fair Oaks Ave between W Loma Alta Dr and E Woodbury Rd. Marengo Ave between W Loma Alta Dr and E Woodbury Rd. Old Rd between Syknar and Stevenson Ranch – Open to local residents only. Golden State (5) Freeway: Northbound truck lanes to Antelope Valley (14) Freeway. and Foothill (210) Freeway: westbound truck lanes to I5, westbound Yarnell Street on-ramp, eastbound Yarnell Street off-ramp.
