Senate Republicans are preparing for their first full-scale Congressional hearing on former President Joe Biden’s allegedly covering up cognitive decline.
Senator John Cornyn of R-Texas and Senator Eric Schmitt of R-Mo. Will, who co-chairs the Senate Judicial Hearing on Wednesday, will delve into “what exactly happened” during Biden’s term and why the constitutional forces to remove him from his office were not triggered.
Cornyn said one of the main goals of the hearing was to shed light on “what happened behind the scenes” at President Biden’s groundbreaking moment.

“And it’s clear that the president simply didn’t get to work, how long no one knows exactly for months,” he said. “The person who happened to make these decisions and fulfilled the duties of the Presidential Office were not those permitted by the Constitution or by the vote of the American people.”
The Cornin and Schmidt hearing, first announced later last month, will be held after the release of the book “Original Singh” by CNN host Jake Tupper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson.

The hearing, “Not Suitable for Service: How Biden put America at Risk and Undermined the Constitution,” features a trio of witnesses called by President Donald Trump’s first term and Senate Republican duo who served during the Reagan and Bush eras.
Among the Republican witnesses is Theodore Waldo. He previously served as deputy assistant attorney general in the Department of Justice’s Legal Policy Office and served as a deputy assistant to the president of domestic policy during the Trump administration. Sean Spicer, former White House press secretary and communications director. John Harrison, a law scholar at the University of Virginia School of Law, previously served between Reagan and the Bush administration.
Wold and Harrison told Fox News Digital that their testimony focused on Biden’s alleged use of Autoopen. This is a device used to automatically mimic a person’s signature, usually using numerous document signatures, and it could have been that the use of the device acted as a chimney to prevent the triggering of the 25th modification.

Biden rejected allegations by lawmakers and Trump that he used the autopen habitually. Trump recently ordered Attorney General Pam Bondy to open an investigation into whether an aide to the former president “abused the power of the president’s signature through the use of an autopen to hide Biden’s cognitive decline.”
Spicer’s testimony focused on Trump’s handling of the media compared to Biden on each initial condition, and it is said that some media have been “silenced” when it comes to signs of the former president’s decline.

Democrats on the panel did not call witnesses.
Sen. D-Ill, Sen. Dick Durbin, a top-ranked Democrat on the committee, argued that Cornyn and Schmidt were wasting the panel’s time with their efforts.
“We have a lot of important topics to consider, and this is a completely political effort by some of my colleagues,” he said. “That’s a waste of time on the Senate Judiciary Committee.”
