White House wife Sandra is employed as president of consulting firm Ocean Wonk LLC, and has been employed since 2017, according to the LinkedIn page. Prior to that, she was a direct employee of the Ocean Conservancy and was a senior policy advisor since 2008.

Ocean Conservancy has received more than $14.2 million federal grants since 2008 for each USASPENDING.GOV. The former was funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Act (BIL) defended by the Biden administration and voted by the White House Senators. The latter was funded through the EPA’s annual spending bill, which was also voted for.

Following the crucial victory, Trump was preparing to complete the cabinet in record time

“Those two grants alone look like a conflict of interest, but that’s even worse in the context of a long history of White House senators lobbying by an organization tied to their wives.”

“Ocean Conservancy is a longtime federal lobby on issues relating to ocean, climate change and environmental cleanup, directly defended by longtime Senate environmental and public members (and current ranking members) White House Senators. He has spent millions on the costs of his activities, co-founder of the Labor Commission and the Senate’s so-called “Marine Caucus.”

“For 40 years, Ocean Conservancy has been a global leader in marine debris cleaning up through our signature initiative, International Coastal Cleanup. The cleanup of marine debris is aided by marine reserves received from NOAA. Gold came from laws passed with a wide range of competitive, bipartisan support. The independent selection process that Ocean Conservancy designated as one of hundreds of NGOs to receive funds was the result of the ocean.
