R-Mo. Sen. Josh Hawley of the California leftist group has begun an investigation into the Californian leftist group.
Holy wrote to the Humanitarian Immigration Rights (Chairah) coalition on Wednesday, saying the organization described protests and riots in Los Angeles as “adjusting”;
“Who is funding Rawit? This violence is not voluntary. As chairman of the Judicial Subcommittee on Crime and Terrorism, I am starting an investigation,” Holy announced on social media.
The letter, addressed to Chirla’s executive director Angelica Salas, points out that “reliable reporting” indicates that the organization provides “logistics support and financial resources to individuals engaged in these disruptive behaviors.”

“Let me be clear: Bankrolling civil unrest is not a protected speech. It supports and behaves in criminal activity. Therefore, we must immediately stop further involvement in organizing, funding or promotion of these illegal activities,” writes Holy.
Additionally, the letter requires Chirla to provide internal communications related to the planning or financing of protests, as well as financial documents relating to the same, such as third-party agreements, vendor agreements and various other business relationships.
Holy also requested travel records from individuals involved in the organization if they were refunded to Chaira and the organization’s donor list.

IRS records obtained by Fox News show that Chirla has won $34 million for $750,000 from former President Joe Biden’s administration.
President Donald Trump has already cut funds for the organization. Nevertheless, Chirla has received state and city grants to help lawyers fighting deportation.
Chirla is also responsible for creating the so-called Rapid Rapid Response Network, which hotline immigrants use to report ice raids. The network then sends text alerts and gives immigrants the opportunity to hide.
