“The United Nations has been driven to a place to attack the tyrants and the US and her allies,” Lee told Fox News Digital in a statement Thursday. “We should stop paying for it. President Trump will revolutionize our foreign policy by putting America first, so we will withdraw from this fake organisation and make our country a reality. We should prioritize real alliances that will make us safe and prosper.”
The US has given more money to the United Nations than any other country, and has donated more than $18 billion in 2022, according to The Bource on Foreign Relations, a US foreign policy think tank. This makes up about a third of the total UN collective budget.
“The United Nations enjoys American taxes, often undermine our interests, attacks our allies, and strengthens our enemies,” Roy told Fox News Digital in a statement Thursday.
