Florida Sen. Rick Scott flew an aerial ad across the New York City sky on Saturday, encouraging residents to move to Nikko Province to escape socialism.
The banner was seen above Coney Island and Jones Beach as beach fans sucked up the sun.
Read Scott’s aerial ads: “Do you hate socialism?” “We too! We’ll move 2 fl.”
Scott addressed the air banner in a statement provided to Fox News Digital.
“While many New Yorkers enjoy the beach this weekend, in addition to our world-class beaches, Florida will give you a friendly reminder that you are a state where you can escape socialism.”

Republican senators denounced New York City and Mamdani politics.
“New York City once represented the American Dream – a city where something can be done,” Scott said. “Today, it is now a city where only billionaires thrive, Jewish students are attacked on campus, capitalism is avoided, and radical socialists like Zoran Mamdani are celebrated.”

Mamdani won a hand against former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo in the Democratic mayoral primary last month. Mamdani is considered the front line in city hall competition, but many Democrats have yet to fully embrace socialist candidates.

Scott said New York City reaped capitalist rewards. “The best system in the world” is now “deteriorating by Democrats across this country.”
“Democrats are working 24 hours a day to trust President Trump, to demolish our country and rebuild it with the radical image that has been awakened through socialist policies,” the Republican said. “But this isn’t new. It’s an old, wild, unreliable idea that fails every time it’s tried. Look at the many families who have fled those brutal regimes to live in Cuba and Venezuela and Florida.”
While in the political office, Scott said he helped his Florida family achieve American dreams, including good work, education and a safe community.

“It’s an American dream and it’s a shame it’s completely slipping down in New York,” he said. “New York families are worth more.”
