The shattered glass front door and goods were seen scattered across both beauty supplies and adjacent auto repair shops. Items were also scattered around convenience stores, so the ATMs inside the store looked like they had been broken, but it is unclear if the money was taken.

The contractor dispatched to clean up the mess left behind by the Lakewood crowd told KTLA he “hate” seeing other facilities he boarded as local residents with his family while his business was dedicated to supporting the community.
“This morning I’ll call you and handle the business that broke and boarded,” said Justin Wilson of Wilson Glass & Screen. “Our businesses are built around supporting these businesses, but as a community member, I hate watching all the businesses I drive with my family and board. [all over] This area. ”

Wilson urged people engaged in illegal and destructive activities such as street takeovers and robberies to “live as a cohesive community” instead.
“It’s sad to see how our community is not caring for by its members as it once did,” he said. “I hope at least that business owners can help each other during this necessary time.”

“I hope that members of the community try to live as a cohesive community rather than putting it… I don’t know how to put it… so many conflicts,” he continued. “Please stop this in our community. We’re all living and working here. We don’t want to see our businesses and communities on board.”
It is unclear whether an arrest was made in connection with any of the incidents.
