Delta passengers flying out of Los Angeles can quickly enjoy Shake Shack on certain flights as first casual chains and airlines announce their expanded partnership.
In November, Delta announced that first class passengers on flights over 900 miles from Boston could pre-select food from the Shake Shack menu for meals in flight. Delta said at the time that it would begin expanding its partnership with Shake Shack throughout 2025.
On Tuesday, the airline announced that it had actually expanded to Lagardia airports in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Seattle and New York City to increase the number of cities eligible for food options in flight.
Eligible flight passengers can pre-select Shake Shack Cheeseburger meals at least 24 hours in advance via the online flight or via the Delta app. This meal is served by the restaurant’s Signature Angus Beef Patty, topped with cheese and served in toasted potato bread, served with tomatoes, lettuce and shack sauce of the same name from the restaurant chain.
