Shohei Ohtani hit a tiebreaking home run in nine innings on a bobblehead night, lifting the undefeated Los Angeles Dodgers to an undefeated Atlanta Braves 6-5 on Wednesday.
The Dodgers have improved to 8-0, making it a great start with the Defending World Series champions.
Max Muncie tied the game with the eighth double of Atlanta reliever Raisel Iglesias (0-1), two errors on the third basehand led the Braves’ five unfortunate runs.
Atlanta is 0-7 for the first time since opening 0-9 in 2016.
Fans waited hours outside the stadium, with traffic groaning for the first of four Ohtani Bobblehead giveaways this season. This features him awarding the 2024 NL MVP Award.
